Rob Styles wins golf club championship

On Saturday and Sunday 10-11 August, Boorowa golfers played 27 holes on each day for the Golf Club Championships.

Perennial Club Champion, Robert Styles was the winner with rounds of 107, 105, total 212, while Daniel Bush was runner-up with 110, 111 totaling 221.

In ‘B’ Grade, Robert Dunwoodie was a clear winner with 130, 129 total 259; while Russel George was runner-up in his first Championship, on 137, 150 total 287.

Tim Good had a blinder on Saturday, winning the 18 hole net event with 84 net 57, from Daniel Bush with 73 net 61.

Robert Dunwoodie was 18 hole net winner on Sunday with 80 net 59, with Daniel Bush runner-up on 72 net 60.

Next Saturday golfers will play a Stableford Event for a monster meat tray.

The Golf Club Mixed Championship is on Sunday over 18 holes.
