Yeoval to take on Trangie

Yeoval’s picturesque rugby union ground will be packed tomorrow when its tough and gritty 15 face off against a reinvigorated Trangie in the ANFD Cup elimination semi.

The winner will meet the loser of the Mudgee-Dubbo Rhinos qualifying semi-final.

Yeoval coach Bruce Lee says if the mistake rate drops he sees no reason why the virtually impenetrable record at home can’t continue.

“We’ve only lost once here this year to the minor premiers but we must clean up our ball control, fewer mistakes are required,’’ Mr Lees said.

Tomorrow’s clash will be in the forwards with long-time Eagles’ captain Nick Job urging his side on.

“Forget last week. We are ready for Trangie,’’ he said after going down to Coolah last week.

The semi-final begins at 3.15pm at Yeoval.
